The Snowy Range is one of the finest snowmobiling areas in the world. With 320 miles of groomed and ungroomed trails. Medicine Bow National Forest has a combined 1,000,000 acres in southeast Wyoming with thousands of acres of open meadows. No area can boast more consistent powder. Bring your own sled or rent from us. You can ride right from your hotel or cabin. This is a great advantage for a 3-4 day stay. The Snowy Range is also a great place for beginners and advanced riders. You can stay on the groomed trails or you can adventure off and go boondocking or hillclimbing(the Widowmaker and Rollercoaster are rider favorites). Trail Map
The range has many other activities for the mountain enthusiest. Snowy Range Ski Area is just a short drive away and offers a snowboard park and 27 seperate runs. Good for skiers and snowboarders. The Snowy Range also provides ample oppurtunities for snowshoeing through the snow covered trees and along frozen creeks. There is also cross country ski trails along the green rock parking area. For the avid fisherman the plains lakes and lake owen are great for ice fishing. Don't forget about the beautiful mountain vistas for the photographer and artsit in you.

In the winter Albany offers Snowmobile rentals and guided tours of the Snowy Range. For the 2014-2015 year we are renting Arctic Cat XF-6000, M-8000, M-6000, Bearcat, and Lynx. These range from trail sleds to high performance mountain sleds. The guided snowmobile tours consist of full or half day trips and range from beginner to intermediate. Stops include warming huts, historic keystone, the peaks, other vistas, and sack lunch included.
